CheckerBerrí exists to offer Biblical encouragement to women. It’s all about relationships…first with God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, then with each other.

The scriptural basis for CheckerBerrí is John 15:5. Jesus said, “I am the Vine. You are the branches. If a man abides in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.”

The purpose of CheckerBerrí is to encourage women to abide in the Vine by reading God’s Word, evaluating our lives according to God’s Word, choosing to adjust our lives to God’s Word, and applying God’s Word to the day-to-day joys and sorrows of our ordinary womanhood.

The name represents simplicity and fruitfulness. Simplicity has become a cherished way of life for me, and I pray that I will become a fruitful branch of the Vine.

CheckerBerrí is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation formed in 2004 as a lay ministry of encouraging women to learn and apply Biblical truths through speaking opportunities, published materials, and song. Tax-deductible contributions are welcomed. All contributions are deposited into the ministry to 1) fund the operating costs of the ministry, 2) fund the materials necessary to Bible study, and 3) fund materials for gift items unique to the ministry.
